- With your black crayon draw a circle the size of a dime just above the
center of the paper.
- Add a small hill (curved line) on either side of the circle.
- Draw a steep hill on top of each small hill. Add circles in these
spaces(eyeballs).
- Make fluffy clouds on top of each steep hill (eyebrows)
- Add sides to the face, higher than the clouds.
- Put a line across the top.
- Staring at the top, make a fluffy beard down to the bottom of your paper
and back up to the other side.
- Draw lines up on each side of the head and a line across (to make the trim
on Santa's hat.)
- Now starting on top of the hat, draw up and across the top of the hat,
down the side and then back up to the bottom of the trim.
- Add a ball at the bottom of the hat.
- Draw a line to the left and a line to the right from Santa's nose to form
a moustache.
- Take out your red crayon and make a smiley mouth for Santa. Color his
hat red. Leave the trim and ball white.
I always cut these out and mount them on red paper and display them for
Christmas. Many times I have had my children had speech bubbles where Santa
is saying HO HO HO or Merry Christmas.
I hope you enjoy this great art project.
